How this image compressor and resizer works
Upload any JPG, PNG, or WebP image, then either drag the quality slider or tell it exactly what file size you want (e.g. "under 100 KB") — the tool will automatically search for the right quality level to hit that target. You can also resize the image to an exact width and height in pixels before compressing, with an aspect-ratio lock so it never looks stretched.
Everything happens locally using your browser's canvas engine — your photo is never uploaded to a server, which makes this a fast and private way to shrink images for a website, email attachment, or upload limit.
