Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Codeexai collects, why, and the choices you have. Codeexai is owned and operated by Aaru. Questions? Write to codeexai9997@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Account details: your name, username, email address and password (stored securely as a hash – we cannot read it).
Content you create: experiences, questions, answers, comments, reactions, saved items, profile photo and short bio.
Reward details: if you choose to receive rewards, the UPI ID or PayPal email you provide.
Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site running.
Messages you send us through the contact form.

How we use it

To create and protect your account (including sending one-time verification codes to your email).
To show your public content and profile as you choose.
To moderate content, prevent spam and abuse, and keep the community safe.
To review and pay rewards.
To reply to your messages and send important notices about your account.

What other people can see

Your email address is never shown publicly. Other people see your display name, photo, bio and public posts. You can post anonymously: your name and photo are then hidden from other users, although site administrators can still see who wrote it for safety and moderation. In your profile settings you can make your profile private and hide your activity.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers that help us run the website (for example email delivery and hosting), or when the law requires it.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and protect forms, and we store your display preferences (such as font size and theme) in your browser.

Security

We use email verification, password hashing, login-attempt limits and content filtering to protect the site. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and never share your verification codes.

Your choices

Edit your profile, privacy settings and email in Settings.
Ask us to delete your account and personal data by emailing codeexai9997@gmail.com.
Content already shared in public discussions may remain visible if others have replied to it, unless you ask us to remove it.
